SOFTIMAGE at GDC 2007— 3D Solutions that ‘Play Together’ to Make Today’s Most Compelling PC and Console Game Titles

San Francisco, Calif.—March 5, 2007—Softimage, Co, a subsidiary of Avid Technology, Inc. begins the Game Developers Conference today in San Francisco at the Moscone Center West (Booth #618). Softimage will present its full line of 3D game development solutions including: SOFTIMAGE|XSI 6, the company’s flagship 3D animation and character creation software; Alienbrain, a game asset management system for artists; SOFTIMAGE|FACE ROBOT, the first production toolset for lifelike face animation; and SOFTIMAGE|CAT, a complete character animation plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max.

Lovett will discuss real-world needs and workflow requirements for creating next-generation game titles like the highly anticipated RPG, Fable 2.
