Softimage Education Partner (SEP) Program Application Form & Terms

The Softimage Education Partner program is tailored for, and open to all education and training facilities that are teaching SOFTIMAGE|XSI as a complete program or as part of their curriculum.

SEP program benefits include:

• Access to a designated program website where education partners can download Softimage marketing materials (posters, logos, reels, etc).
• Priority access to XSI experts that can help education partners answer technical questions.
• Softimage Graduate program: students graduating in a media-related field from a Softimage Education Partner institution (offering a diploma or degree program) while that institution is an active member of the program will be eligible to receive a free, one-year commercial license of XSI within one year following their graduation.

Softimage Education Partner program requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for an educational institution or training facility to become and remain a Softimage Education Partner:

• The educational institution must offer one or more full-time degree programs aimed at a career in the film, broadcast or games industries OR is a facility that offers full time and part time professional training programs.
• Softimage technologies are prominent within the curriculum of the courses in the programs and the curriculum covers the use of Softimage technologies in sufficient detail.
• Softimage products being taught are current versions or on maintenance program, with a minimum of fifteen (15) licenses available to students.
• At least one member of Faculty is a Softimage Certified Instructor on staff (or is going to go through the program within an acceptable timeframe).

About this Application & Terms Document

To apply to become a Softimage Education Partner, please complete the following on-line application form.  We will respond to your application typically within two weeks. Successful applicants will receive a Softimage Education Partner Agreement countersigned by Softimage. The terms as set out in this document will govern the relationship between the parties. There is no fee to become a Softimage Education Partner.
