Softimage Education Partner (SEP) program
Beginning in 2008, the Softimage Education Partner (SEP) program will be open to all education and training facilities that are teaching SOFTIMAGE|XSI as a complete program or as part of their curriculum.
A Softimage Education Partner is defined as an Educational Institution that:
- Is teaching a Degree program.
- Is offering courses that include XSI as part of curriculum.
- Has current licenses (either latest version or on maintenance).
- Has a minimum of 15 licenses (or an acceptable percentage of licenses in the program).
- Has at least one Softimage Certified Instructor on staff (within an acceptable timeframe).
- Is publicly listed as a Softimage Education Partner on www.softimage.com.
Or is a Facility that:
- Teaches professional training (non-Degree program).
- Has at least one Softimage Certified Instructor on staff* (within an acceptable timeframe).
- Has current licenses (either latest version or on maintenance).
- Has a minimum of 15 licenses (or an acceptable percentage of licenses in the program).
- Is publicly listed as a Softimage Education Partner on www.softimage.com.
Benefits of being a Softimage Education Partner include:
- Regular communication with Softimage Training Team via the xsitrainer@softimage.com mailing list and the Education forums on the Softimage community website.
- Access to a private website where education partners can download Softimage marketing materials (posters, logos, reels, etc).
- Priority access to XSI experts that can help education partners answer technical questions.
- Potential inclusion in late Beta cycles for upcoming releases of XSI.
- Public listing as an SEP on Softimage.com.
- Potential inclusion in Softimage Marketing campaigns.
- A gallery on the Softimage Community website site where education partners’ students can post their work.
- Invitations to annual SIGGRAPH Education Summits hosted by Softimage.
- Softimage Graduate program: any student graduating from a Softimage Education Partner institution (offering a diploma or degree program) will receive a free, one-year commercial license of XSI.
