Subject: X-mas addon: marking sets to keying panel, actions

Hello :-)

http://www.b-cosmos.com/thiswebsiteaintdeadyet/ch_keyable.zip

This one lets you replace all marking sets under a model with the
corresponding keying panel parameters, delete the marking sets, as well
as create static actions from all keying panel parameters under a model.

It's quite useful if, like me, you use the pre-cooked rigs in XSI (like
Biped Rig), which do not yet have the proper parameters selection in the
keying panel, and you want to use both the keying panel AND actions in
an efficient way. You can add custom parameters to your marking sets and
they will be included as well.

Drag'n'drop into XSI, or install via the File -> Addon menu. There's a
toolbar with four buttons. Once installed, everything is explained in
your local Netview under the "Addon" menu (click the icon).

I did it after the subject came up in this thread:

http://archives.itg.uiuc.edu/softimage/xsi/2005-11/msg01926.htm

It seems solid, but I've noticed the problem that was mentioned
yesterday in this:

http://archives.itg.uiuc.edu/softimage/xsi/2005-12/msg00512.htm

I would tend to agree that it could be due to multiple versions of XSI
on the same machine (the problem happens on a workstation with XSI 5
foundation trial and XSI 4.2, and not on a laptop with only XSI 5
foundation trial).

Enjoy!
