I haven't had a chance to see v7 yet, but what you are
describing is the exact interface used in the
Symphony. Did you really expect to get the
Symphony-style color correction without the Symphony
CC interface? Could you place the timeline on the
other monitor and leave the CC interface on the other
screen? I think you'll grow more comfortable with the
CC interface the more time you spend with it. It's the
only thing I miss from working on a Symphony!
